# PrestaShop

Accept Ozow payments on your PrestaShop store. The Ozow PrestaShop module is compatible with
PrestaShop 1.7.x, 8.0.x, and 8.1.x.

> ℹ️ **Older versions**: Modules for older versions of PrestaShop are available on request. Contact
> [support@ozow.com](mailto:support@ozow.com) or your account manager if you need a module for an
> older PrestaShop version.

## Before you start

- You need an active Ozow merchant account. If you don't have one, sign up at [ozow.com/merchants](https://ozow.com/merchants).
- You need a working PrestaShop 1.7.x, 8.0.x, or 8.1.x installation.
- Ozow only accepts payments in South African Rand (ZAR). Make sure your PrestaShop store currency
  is set to ZAR.
- You will need admin access to your PrestaShop installation.

## Installation

1. Download the plugin using the link above
2. Log in to your PrestaShop admin portal
3. Navigate to **Modules** → **Module Manager**
4. Click **Upload a module**
5. Select and upload the Ozow payment module zip file
6. On the **Module Manager** page, select **Payment** from the **Category** dropdown, or search for
   "Ozow" in the search bar
7. Find the Ozow payment module and click **Install**
8. Once installed, click **Configure**
9. Enter your merchant credentials, your site code, private key, and API key are available in your
   [Ozow Dashboard](https://dash.ozow.com)
10. Click **Save**
